Today, the Municipality of Tirana opened the international competition for the construction of the new National Theatre.

In the show "Publikisht", the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has indicated when the construction works will begin.

Veliaj said that the work will start 60 days after the end of the competition, which according to him is calculated before the new year.

"There are endless jobs that must be finished in the 3rd term, absolutely. Today we just opened the National Theater competition, I believe that at the end of the 60 days when the competition process ends, since it is an international competition, we will have the opportunity to start the works hopefully around the days of the "New Year" and let's say that the 'New Year' finds us at that construction site", stressed the socialist mayor./ BA - CNA.al
