A survey conducted by "Monitor" on its website and social networks shows that for the majority of participants, hybrid work is the most suitable form of work.
To the question "What do you think is the most suitable form of working?" 61% of the survey participants answered by choosing the "hybrid" alternative. The second most voted alternative was working from the office, with 26% of the votes, while the least voted was working from home, with 13% of the votes.
The pandemic of 2020 brought working from home on a massive scale as a forced choice for many businesses. With the easing of restrictions and the improvement of the situation, gradually a good part of businesses moved towards the hybrid model, alternating work from home with work in the office in certain ratios within the week or calendar month.
The years after the pandemic showed that for many businesses the hybrid working model became a permanent solution. Experience has shown that information and communication technology has already made remote part-time work a completely possible and preferred choice for many professions.
The Monitor survey shows that exactly hybrid work seems to be a good meeting point between employers and employees. The poll showed that only a quarter of voters see a permanent office job as the most suitable form of working, but an even smaller proportion think it is always suitable to work from home.

A partial presence in the work environment can be important to maintain direct human interaction, but also not to lose the perception of the separation of work time and space from the personal one.
The results of the Monitor survey are broadly consistent with the findings of surveys conducted in recent years in other countries and on a larger scale. These surveys have shown that most employees in administrative positions believe that hybrid work.
According to a 2022 Gallup poll, more than half of US workers expected to work permanently in a hybrid mode in the future, while 25% anticipated working exclusively from home or remotely. Studies based on these surveys have in most cases concluded that hybrid work will be a permanent reality for most businesses.
In the post-pandemic period, the Albanian economy is facing a labor force shortage. One of the ways businesses have responded to this situation has been an increase in flexibility regarding the physical presence of employees, practicing partial remote work, in those cases where this is possible./ Monitor.al
