Fire situation in the country/ 22 fires on Saturday, 11 of them active

According to data from the National Civil Emergency Operations Center at AKMC, as of 6:00 PM, 22 fires have been reported, of which 11 have been extinguished and 11 are active.

After continuous work by operational forces on the ground, it was possible to completely isolate and extinguish the fires in:

* In the municipality of Korça.

* On the "Vlora Bypass", Orikum administrative unit, Vlora municipality.

* In Vish, in the municipality of Himara.

* In Qeparo, Himara municipality.

* In the village of Borsh, Lukovë administrative unit, Himara municipality.

* In the village of Mborje, Drenova administrative unit, Korça municipality.

* In the village of Borsh, Lukovë administrative unit, Himara municipality.

* In the village of Karpen, Golem administrative unit, Kavaja municipality.

* In the village of Velçë, Brataj administrative unit, Selenica municipality.

* In the village of Karpen, Maminas administrative unit, Shijak municipality.

* In the village of Çerkezë-Morinë, Zall-Herr administrative unit, Kamëz municipality.

Dibër District

In the place called "Lake of Flowers", part of the Lura National Park, Lura administrative unit, Dibër municipality, where the fire that broke out on 07.07.2025 continues to burn, which is developing in two fires. One fire is developing in the direction of Lura, around the Black Lake and is being worked on by operational forces. The bad terrain has made it difficult to bring the fire under control. While the other fire is developing in the upper part of the fire from the Gura Lura side, it has been partially closed after logs are burning inside the fire. 30 forces from local authorities and 30 forces from the Armed Forces have been engaged in the fire extinguishing operation.

2. In the administrative unit of Shupenza, Bulqiza municipality, a fire reactivated on 13.07.2025, which was moved from "Livadhi i Peladhisë", administrative unit of Zerqan, continues to burn in a low-intensity area. Today, 9 firefighters with 1 firefighting vehicle from the Ministry of Fire and Rescue and 4 forces from the Forest Service are on the ground.

3. In the village of Zall Gjoçaj, Derjan administrative unit, Mat municipality. A fire has broken out in a steep area, making intervention difficult. Around 30 municipal forces and 30 personnel from the Armed Forces are at the scene. 1 Armed Forces helicopter is also operating at the location.

4. In the village of Dovolan, Maqellarë administrative unit, Dibër municipality. The fire is taking place on the eastern side of the village in oak forests, brambles and bushes, but not far from several homes. 1 fire engine with 6 firefighters is working.

Fier District

In the village of Belishovë, administrative unit Qendër Dukas, municipality of Mallakastër, the fire source from the village of Drenova, which was reactivated on 14.07.2025, continues to be active. The fire source has expanded its perimeter. At the scene, 35 firefighting forces with 2 firefighting vehicles from the municipality of Mallakastër, 4 firefighting forces with 1 vehicle from the municipality of Fier, 10 firefighting forces with 2 vehicles from Albpetrol, 10 personnel with 2 firefighting vehicles from the Armed Forces and 30 personnel with 2 vehicles from the Southern Infantry Regiment are working to extinguish it.

Vlora Region

In Sotiran, in the place called “Qafa e Shëngjergjit”, above the village of Dukat, Orikum administrative unit, Vlora municipality. The fire is very intense. Bushes and ferns are burning under the pine forest. The flames, helped by the wind, have also included the crown of the pine trees. 17 MZSH officers, 5 forces from the Forest Service and 7 municipal forces are working on the ground.

Elbasan District

In the village of Shmil, administrative unit Labinot-Mal, municipality of Elbasan, on the border with the village of Gurakuq, administrative unit Orenja, municipality of Librazhd. The fire has broken out in a chestnut forest. The terrain makes it difficult to intervene.

Durres District

In the village of Zallë, administrative unit of Fushë – Krujë, municipality of Krujë. A fire truck with a service group, Civil Emergencies employees, is at the scene.
