The hearing for Berisha is postponed/ Judge Irena Gjoka is absent

The Special Court has postponed the hearing for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The postponement happened because judge Irena Gjoka was in another court process.

In this session, it was planned to examine the request of Berisha's lawyers for the revocation of the security measure.

We remind you that since December 30, the chairman of the DP is under house arrest.

The Special Prosecutor's Office accuses the former prime minister of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in cooperation with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi./ CNA
