They were selling narcotics in Tirana/ Two young men were arrested

Two young men have been arrested by Tirana police after being caught selling narcotics in different areas of the capital.

One of the arrested, a 26-year-old man with the initials KB, had hidden the narcotics he was going to sell in a car park, near the place where he was stopped.

Meanwhile, the other arrested person, a 27-year-old man with the initials SS, in addition to the narcotics, was also found to have 2 cold weapons.

Police announcement: 

Tirana/Successive strikes against the production and sale of narcotics.

Two citizens who were selling the narcotic Cannabis Sativa in different areas of the capital were identified, arrested and put in handcuffs.

One of the arrested had hidden the narcotics he was going to sell in a parking lot near the place of his arrest.

The other arrestee, in addition to the narcotics, also possessed 2 cold weapons.

Narcotics, cold weapons and a sum of money gained from the sale of the substance were seized.

Following operational, investigative and operational work, with a focus on identifying and arresting citizens implicated in criminal activities in the field of narcotics, the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, in cooperation with specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section, arrested the following citizens:

-KB, 26 years old, resident of Tirana, who during a physical search was found to have a quantity of the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa. Further searches, in the area surrounding the place of arrest of citizen KB, found a quantity of this substance hidden in a parking lot, suspected to belong to the 26-year-old, with the intention of selling;

-SS, 27 years old, who during a physical search was found to be in possession of a quantity of the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, suspected of being possessed with the intent to sell. Further, during the search, 2 cold weapons, 3 mobile phones and a sum of money suspected to have been obtained from the sale of the substance were found.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
