For months, CNA has been criminally attacked by Aldor Nini and "Acromax". Aldor Nini of "Acromax" made his army available to attack CNA on social networks, shutting down first the "YouTube" channel, then "Instagram", "TikTok" and finally the page of CNA on "Facebook".

After the successive strikes and the attack on free speech, a number of journalists' associations have reacted, which have strongly condemned the criminal strikes of Aldor Nini and "Acromax" against CNA.

The Association of Albanian Journalists reacted immediately, expressing concern about the closure of the CNA website.

"The Association of Journalists of Albania expresses its concern about the 'online' attack on the CNA.al media and a series of reports on the 'Facebook' of the journalist Elvi Fundo. Today we were informed that the CNA.al Facebook page is in a series of online attacks, while it was closed on Sunday. All 'online' attacks on the media, journalists and media workers are attacks to silence freedom of speech. We demand the return as soon as possible to the active status of the pages and the immediate ban of the reports of Mr. Fundo's profile, as well as the respect of the standards of the European Union for social networks", says the AGSH reaction.

The Albanian Media Council reacted further. KSHM emphasizes that the closure of social networks without a court decision constitutes a clear violation of freedom of information, freedom of expression and violation of free speech.

"Blocking of CNA's 'online' pages, an act of censorship. KSHM expresses its concern about the repeated attack on social networks against CNA media. Blocking of the pages of any media, whether on the web or in social networks, can and should be done ONLY with a final decision of the Albanian courts. If the public's access is blocked without a court decision, except for cases provided by law, it constitutes a clear violation of freedom of information and freedom of expression and violation of free speech. KSHM calls on social network platforms to avoid media blocking, and especially without prior notification of those affected", the statement underlined.

Even "Safe Journalists" strongly opposed the repeated attacks on CNA and the series of reports on "Facebook" by the journalist Elvi Fundo.

"'Safe Journalist Albania' joins the concern of the colleagues of the Association of Journalists of Albania, AGSH, on the 'online' attack on the CNA.al media and a series of reports on the 'Facebook' of the journalist Elvi Fundo", the statement underlined.

The Association of Professional Journalists of Albania has issued a statement about the closure of the accounts on CNA's social networks by Aldor Nini and the company "Acromax".

"The reports of digital attacks and closure of the 'online' accounts of the CNA portal are extremely disturbing and are repeated by other media as well. This is an unprecedented, unacceptable action in a state of law, where the courts should be the ones to decide on such restrictions, which violate the constitutional principle of the right to information, free speech and media freedom. The Association of Professional Journalists of Albania calls on the legislators to react and act to guarantee the proper functioning of the media, even with legal regulations, as such acts are pure acts of censorship that further lower Albania's reputation for freedom of expression. the media and present us as a corrupt country where certain individuals or parties act freely above the norms and laws", underlined the Association of Professional Journalists of Albania.

AEJ Albania has appealed to the company "ACROMAX" for transparency about the blocking of the CNA Media channel!

"Media CNA has raised the concern that there was a blocking of its channel on 'YouTube', by the company 'ACROMAX' as the official representative of the company 'YouTube' in Albania, without right and in violation of media freedom. Such cases from the company 'ACROMAX' have become repeated, influencing the activity of some media and penalizing them in their work. Not giving clear reasons! AEJ branch Albania stands in solidarity with CNA's colleagues, and makes a strong appeal to the company 'ACROMAX' to immediately stop taking such punitive measures against the media, directly affecting the mission of the media to inform the public. In the meantime, international platforms will be informed about this case!", says the statement.

Earlier, specifically on August 23 of this year, there was also a reaction from the German Embassy in Albania. In response, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Tirana, Thilo Schroeter, told CNA that they reject any attempt to misuse legal mechanisms, including claims of copyright abuse, to intimidate journalists. or media organizations. The German Embassy emphasizes that freedom of the press is an essential basis for a functioning democracy.

CNA has been facing a criminal attack for three months, by an individual who has been accused of stalking. CNA has written to several international media organizations as well as social media companies.

Also, all international media organizations and social networking platforms have been notified again about the abuses of Aldor Nini and his personal vendettas, who abuses access to the platforms and misuses them for his personal interests./ CNA
