The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, is expected to report at today's session in parliament on the one-year work of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

About a month ago, Duman presented to the Laws Commission the annual report on the work of the institution he leads.

During the reporting, he stopped at the arrest of high-level officials, while he also mentioned magistrates dismissed by vetting. 

The head of SPAK also published the figures for 2023, where he said that 41 million euros of assets were seized. 

According to him, there were 237 detainees from SPAK, less than 9% of the total number of persons in custody.

Dumani, in his speech, also raised the concern of the "fate" of SPAK prosecutors, after the end of the mandate. He made a call to the Assembly for a clear legal definition. According to him, this Special Structure needs human resources. 

Duman called on the institutions to cooperate with SPAK to fight corruption.
