The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Ka'nani, reacted after the Government cut off diplomatic relations with Iran.

Iranian media reports that Ka'nani has called the Albanian government's claims baseless.

He stated that the severance of diplomatic relations is a thoughtless act.

"As one of the countries that has been the target of cyber attacks on its critical infrastructure, the Islamic Republic of Iran opposes and condemns any use of cyberspace as a means to attack the infrastructure of other countries," the Iranian spokesman said.

According to him, third countries that support terrorism have played a key role in Albania's decision.

"The immediate statements of the US and Israeli regime after Albania's announcement show a new conspiracy and campaign against Iran", he emphasized.
