They were held for about 12 hours/ Shkodra Court leaves two terrorism suspects

The Shkodra Court has upheld the security measure of "prison arrest" for two terrorism suspects. The two citizens, EU and JC, were held for about 12 hours in an apartment in Orosh, Fushë Arrëzit.

Roland Islami, EU's lawyer, said he requested an unlawful arrest, adding that his client had nothing to do with the weapons found in the apartment and said he was there because JC called him, because they are friends.

They surrendered after negotiations with the police and their relatives. At the time of surrender, the EU citizen had a wound on his thigh, which he allegedly inflicted to blame the officers. 

During the search of the apartment where they were holed up, the police found 4 automatic firearms and a pistol, a flag of the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization, 17 defensive hand grenades, combat ammunition, electric detonator caps for exploding explosives, a fuse used to detonate explosives, and two cartridges. /CNA
