The deputy of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has expressed in the Laws Commission that the acts and deeds done by the former Sigurimsat should be judged and not all put in one bag in the lustration process.

"The lustration process should not be collective where everyone is put in one bag because it would be a repetition of the political judicial processes that the State Security did at that time and we must condemn it today.

 The instrument we must choose must be profiled. In this draft law we have made this choice, it would not be enough to simply be scanned somewhere as a collaborator or spy of the State Security, the concrete acts that you have done in that task must be proven. This is an innovation that should be welcomed.

We do not judge only the person, but the acts, the works, the consequences.

We have envisaged a process. Every elected official, deputy, minister, member of the administration, should undergo the process without making a collective review and without concluding what has been done by whom", said Alibeaj./ CNA.al
