The director of the local police of Shkodra, Edmond Sulaj, has spoken about the injury to citizen Selami Brahimi in the neighborhood "Xhabiej".

Sulaj has announced that an investigative group has been set up under the direction of the prosecution and work is being done to document the event. 

They further state that they are working intensively to unravel the incident. 

"At 17:50 here in the "Xhabej" neighborhood, citizen Selami Brahimi was shot with a firearm, who was slightly injured and is receiving treatment in the Shkodra hospital.

An investigative group has been formed under the direction of the prosecution and is working on the complete documentation of the event.

Security cameras are being taken and eyewitnesses who know about the incident are being questioned.

In the meantime, the injured party will be interviewed. As for the causes, the investigation group is working to clarify the circumstances.

We are working intensively to solve it and we assure the citizens that the local police of Shkodra has all the capacities to solve such events", says Sulaj./ CNA
