They finished the search and rescue operation in Turkey/Albanian troops are sent

The 3 Albanian teams that participated in the search and rescue operations after two devastating earthquakes in Turkey, finished their work and left to return to the Motherland.

After 11 days of intensive work, about 85 troops, which included members of the Armed Forces, Civil Emergency, health teams, were accompanied by applause from representatives of the Turkish authorities, but also ordinary citizens, who expressed their gratitude for their contribution. The moment of the escort of the Albanian troops was also broadcast by the Turkish news agency IHA (Ihlas Haber Agency).

Në ceremoninë e përcjelljes ishte e pranishme edhe konsullja shqiptare në Stamboll, Blerta Kadzadej, e cila shprehu falenderimet për punën e palodhur të ekipeve shqiptare.

Koloneli Elton Reso tha se përgjatë këtyre ditëve të kërkim-shpëtimit janë nxjerrë nga ekipet shqiptare 26 persona të bllokuar nën rrënoja, mes të cilëve edhe disa të mbijetuar. Ai kujton si emocionues momentin kur nga rrënojat u nxorr një vajzë e vogël. Ekipet shqiptare në koordinim edhe me emergjencat turke, AFAD u vendosën kryesisht në zonën e Malatyas.
