"Fiscal peace"/ Bozdo: It has nothing to do with integration, this law

Democratic Party MP Eno Bozdo spoke today about peace and fiscal amnesty, which according to him are the same thing. Invited to Syri TV, Bozdo stated that neither has anything to do with the integration process nor are they European Union standards.

He further added that the EU and DP's stance on this case are as similar as "two drops of water." The MP emphasized that this law only paves the way for money laundering.

"Fiscal amnesty and fiscal peace are almost the same but have no connection with European integration and are not EU standards. The EU's position in this case is like a drop of water with the DP's position. The main problem is opening the way for money laundering. The second is the issue of morality and discouragement of honest taxpayers. The third is related to transparency, which is a point that was raised by the EC communiqué. This is the block of remarks that the opposition also has. We are dealing with one law and not two laws. It is the forgiveness/cancellation of obligations and fiscal peace ," said Bozdo, among other things. /CNA
