"Uncertainty about the role of ILD"/ Metani: Numerous allegations from political actors

The Head of the High Inspectorate of Justice, Artur Metani, has reported to the Parliament the activity for 2024 of the institution he heads.

Metani stated that the ILD has established thematic inspections in several courts, an inspection which has begun.

Further, Metani stated that the ILD has ascertained from this inspection that vacancies in the courts have not been filled.

The head of the ILD said that one aspect that requires special attention is the infrastructure of the judiciary and called for the engagement of all institutions.

One factor we have noted is the lack of vacancies in the courts. One aspect that requires special attention is the infrastructure of the judiciary.
