Many people believe that amulets and talismans protect us from the evil eye.

Regarding this, theologian Miron Çako spoke, who explained what talismans are, which are used as writings on papers or small objects.

Invited to "ABC in the Morning", the theologian said that these mascots keep you away from God and affect your relationship with him.

"Amulets are some writings inserted in some kind of paper or objects that people keep as lucky characters, or to protect them from something. But the question is, does the mascot work as protection? The problem is that one falls very low when one believes in mascots. This object that man himself or another has created and given to you. So it is man-made. Even this, if we will keep it, turns into a kind of god, even to break the relationship with the god. It insults God, who is the one who influences and protects human life."

People say: 'I went to x, to the sorcerer, or the fortune teller. "I kept this mascot and I felt good, but this is a trick, because you have removed the prayer with God and put communication with a charlatan who is a magician," said Çako. /CNA.al
