Sea issue/Rama meeting with Mitsotakis: There is still no consensus
Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his visit to Prague

Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his visit to Prague, has informed that Albania and Greece have not reached an agreement on the issue of the sea in order to turn to the Court in The Hague.

For this matter, Rama and Mitsotakis held a meeting in the Czech capital. Rama stated that there is still no consensus between the parties.

“Ky është një proces ligjor, ka një sërë rregullash, ka një sërë procedurash dhe ne do t’i respektojmë procedurat nga fillimi në fund sepse duhet të bëjmë shumë të qartë pozicionin tonë, duhet të bëjmë shumë të qartë çfarë ne synojmë në këtë proces dhe ai qëndrimi i unifikuar që kërkohet nga kjo gjykatë për çfarë synon njëra palë dhe çfarë synon pala tjetër, kërkon kohën e vet. Pra, nuk kemi një konsensus mes palëve”, u shpreh kreu i qeverisë.

Ndër të tjera Rama tha se vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor do të jenë pjesë e diskutimit me BE për krizën energjetike.

"In the round table where I was together with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, the main focus was precisely the energy crisis and how our countries, starting with the negotiations for membership, will be able to be helped directly. While I have insisted that there should be no difference here and all countries should be included, all 6 countries", he emphasized./ CNA.al
