The next day, September 11, 2023, the new school year begins.

The Tirana Traffic Police Commissionerate, in cooperation with the Tirana Municipal Police, have prepared a special plan of measures, on the occasion of the increase in the flow of movements, at the start of the 2023-2024 school year, and for this they appeal to road users:

?Pedestrians should walk in the crossings dedicated to them, as well as respect the white lines and traffic lights.

?Users of bicycles, electric motors and motor vehicles should be equipped with protective helmets, as well as respect the horizontal and vertical signage on the road.

? Avoid using vehicles for close distances.

?In case of accompanying children by vehicle to kindergarten/school, the children should be positioned in the back seat of the vehicle and, if necessary, in the seat.

? The location of the vehicle should not be near intersections or white lines.

? Drivers of vehicles in the center should not become an obstacle for the circulation of other vehicles, rationalizing the time of their stay as much as possible, always on the right side of the road.

?Drivers of vehicles for the transportation of students should especially take into account that they show caution when boarding/disembarking students, stopping the vehicles in the designated places, without becoming an obstacle for the movement of other vehicles.

Likewise, after escorting students to school, take care until escorting the last student (passenger in this vehicle) to the school premises.
