"If you have faith, everything can happen"/ Archbishop Joan's

Today the Holy Liturgy was held for the 7th Sunday of Luke. The Liturgy was held at the "Resurrection of Christ" Cathedral in Tirana.  

Also present was the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, Joan, who also delivered a sermon.

In his speech, the Archbishop showed how much hope the Gospel carries, while also recounting cases of miracles.

Through the miracles written in the Gospel, the Archbishop shared the message of removing fear, as through faith and the presence of God, even the most unimaginable can happen.

"Today's Gospel is a gospel of hope, showing that there can be hope even where the situation seems hopeless. After the Lord performed a healing in Gadara, he approached the lakeside. A woman with a wound that had been there for 12 years, but had not achieved any results, approached him in case she might be healed. Instantly her bleeding stopped. The Lord turned to the disciples and asked them who touched her. The woman fell to her knees and told him what had happened. The Lord told her not to be afraid, but to take heart. If you have faith, everything can happen. This is today's gospel. In hopeless cases, how much hope can we have? The presence of the Lord makes the impossible possible," the Archbishop said. /CNA
