Nikollari është një emër i njohur i mjekësisë shqiptare pasi në vite të ndryshme ka mbajtur një sërë postesh të rëndësishme, ku mund të rendisim atë si Drejtor i Institutit të Kërkimeve Mjekësore Ushtarake (IKMU) ne Spitalin Ushtarak Qendror Universitar (SUQU)-Tiranë në 2012.

Gjithashtu përgjatë viteve 2000-2006 ai ka qenë Drejtor i Drejtorisë se Shëndetësisë në Ministrinë e Mbrojtjes, por edhe shef i departamentit të Epidemiologjisë në spitalin Ushtarak Qendror Universitar (SUQU), përgjatë viteve 1999-2000./CNA.al
