About 700 armored cars circulate with permission in Albania. They belong to individuals, the state or physical security companies.

In Tirana, Durrës and Shkodër, cities where there were criminal incidents, the largest number of anti-bullet cars was registered.

94 people in Albania drive in armored cars. At least those who have registered them in their names and not those of physical security companies.

The latter, like the state institutions, have authorization to circulate with around 600 armored vehicles in their ownership, which include vans for transporting money and people or cars that can be rented, informs Euronews Albania.

Tirana and Durrës are the cities where the most individuals move with bulletproof devices, 21 in each of these cities.

The third place is occupied by Shkodra, followed by Fieri, Vlora and Lezha. All of them are cities where there have been recent assassinations and other criminal events.

Out of about 700 armored vehicles in total in Albania, those of the "Fiat" brand lead the way, 240 of them. Then come "Audi", "Benz" and "Land Rover".

During the time of its action, OFL seized several armored cars owned by individuals who, according to it, did not justify the wealth. /CNA.al
