Bad weather leaves Shkodra in the dark/ Some of the main roads are flooded

Heavy rains and strong winds have caused problems in the city of Shkodra. As a result, the city is not supplied with electricity and there are floods on some of the main roads.

"Skënderbeu" Boulevard, "Isa Boletini" Square, "Demokracia" Square and the area near the Dervishbeg Bridge were flooded.

Shkodër Municipality has called on residents to avoid unnecessary movement.

"Regarding the situation created by bad weather with heavy rainfall, we inform you that:

All road axes are passable in the city of Shkodra. There is an increased presence of water near "Skënderbeu" Boulevard, in "Isa Boletini" Square, in "Demokracia" Square and near Dervishbeg Bridge. On the part of Shkodër Municipality, all the employees of the Public Services Enterprise and the Municipal Police are engaged in the field. The Water and Sewer Company has employees and specialized tools on the ground for water removal, but the high intensity of the rain that continues makes the intervention difficult. As a result of the bad weather, some villages are not supplied with electricity. All the structures of Shkodër Municipality are ready", the announcement states./ CNA
