Metan's message for politics: Do not interfere with the judicial power

On Thursday, the High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani participated in the conference "Reform in Justice in Albania and the role of the High Inspector of Justice in strengthening the rule of law".

While expressing his satisfaction for the attention that civil society organizations have on the work of the ILD, Metani also spoke about what he thinks are problems in the judicial system today.

Meta emphasized the vacancies in the judicial institutions, where he said that many of the citizens have not received justice on the cases they have open. 

But above all, the head of the ILD emphasized the need for the separation of powers in order to have a successful Reform in Justice. He gave the message that politics should not interfere with the judicial power in order to see progress./ CNA
