Former parliament speaker Jozefina Topalli has commented on the agreement signed by Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta, for the local elections of 2023.

Invited to the show "The Unexposed" by Ylli Rakipi, Topalli emphasized that Ilir Meta's 100,000 votes should not be underestimated.

" It is not the first time I see such an agreement. The first time was in 2009.

Ka qenë një marrëveshje që Berisha dhe Meta nuk e kishin me ndonjë entuziasëm të madh, por kur nuk qeveris dot i vetëm, realizmi politik kërkon një marrëveshje. Sot e kanë quajtur front opozitar përballë një qeverisje që ka marrë të gjithë pushtetet.

Meta nuk është për tu nënvlerësuar sepse ka marrë 100 mijë vota në zgjedhjet e shkuara. 100 mijë vota, asnjë forcë politike nuk mund ti nënvlerësojë.

Nxjerrja e kandidatëve të përbashkët është një ndër pikat. Është hapi i parë, një strategji për tu ndjekur pastaj për zgjedhjet parlamentare.

Nuk mund të harrojmë që zgjedhjet lokale bëhen në kushtet kur opozita ka zero bashki. Kërkohet një sinergji më e madhe e forcave politike, sepse po e fillojmë nga minus.
