Mandate of Xhaçka/Lawyer-minister: There is no benefit from public funds

In the Constitutional Court, the hearing for the mandate as deputy of Minister Olta Xhaçka is continuing.

After the representative of the opposition MPs, Marsh Logu, has been heard, the other side, represented by lawyer Genc Çifligu, is now being heard.

The latter has said that the demands of the opposition in the Constitutional Court do not meet the criteria to be presented to the Court.

According to him, the deputy has no incompatibility with the mandate of the deputy and moreover, she has no benefit from public funds.

"It turns out that the deputy has no incompatibility with the mandate of the deputy. There is no benefit from public funds.

VKM is for another individual and not for MP Olta Xhaçka", he said.

The request does not meet the formal criteria to be submitted to the Constitutional Court.
