Adverse weather conditions/Changes in Durrës-Bari ferry sailings

The weather conditions of this early week have also affected sailings on the Durrës-Bari line and vice versa.

The Durrës Port Authority announces that during the evening of January 4, 2026, one of the two ferries scheduled to sail to Bari failed to depart.

Travelers affected by this situation have been assisted by the relevant companies, which have taken measures to reroute them on subsequent departures.

The current ferry movement situation for today is as follows:

• The ferry “Rigel VII” arrives at the Port of Durres at 11:00 and will depart at 13:00.

• The ferry “Rigel V” is expected to arrive around 15:00 and depart around 23:00.

• The ferry “Rigel III” is expected to arrive around 9:00 PM and will depart after midnight.

• “GNV Cristal” is scheduled to depart at 23:00.

The Durrës Port Authority continues to closely monitor the meteorological situation and the movement of maritime vehicles, in close cooperation with shipping companies and responsible authorities, in order to guarantee the safety and smooth running of port operations./CNA
