The President of the AMA is elected President of the Mediterranean Network of

The Chairperson of the Audiovisual Media Authority, Armela Krasniqi, has been elected as President of the Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities.

The decision was taken at the 22nd Plenary Assembly of the Network, which was held this Thursday for the first time in Albania.

Krasniqi declares that the election as President increases her responsibilities for the continuity of cooperation, of identifying and facing challenges, but also of creating new bridges.

"I am honored to welcome, for the first time in Albania, the 22nd Plenary Assembly of the Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities.

The election as President of this Network with 27 member countries from the Mediterranean Region, adds to my responsibilities for the continuity of cooperation, identifying and jointly facing the challenges dictated by the time in which we live, but also the creation of new bridges.

The first day of this Assembly was of great interest, where, in the two foreseen panels, it was discussed about the European Media Freedom Act that is expected to be approved soon by the Council of Europe, about quality media, verification of facts, about Platforms for Sharing Videos and the need to adjust their operation.
