SPAK searches in apartment/ Supreme Court rejects Arbër Veliaj's

The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of the mayor's brother, Arbër Veliaj, regarding SPAK's searches of his apartment.

The decision was made by the panel of judges Albana Boksi, Medi Bici and Sokol Binaj, who upheld the decision of the Appeals Court of the Kosovo Court of Cassation.

In December 2024, BKH agents, by order of SPAK and decision of the GJKKO, landed at Arbër Veliaj's apartment and office as part of the investigations that the Special Prosecution Office was conducting into his brother Erion Veliaj.

Arbër Velaj had appealed against these controls, but on July 31 of this year, the Appeals Court of Kosovo dismissed his appeal. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has decided to uphold the decision made by the Appeals Court of Kosovo./ CNA
