The Public Commissioner requests the dismissal of the prosecutor Valentin

The Public Commissioner, within the legal deadline, filed an appeal in the Special Appeals College, near the Constitutional Court, against decision no. 730, dated 10.1.2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, for the subject of revaluation, Mr. Valentin Preçi, prosecutor in the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana.

After reviewing the decision no. 730/2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, in implementation of the ONM Recommendation, the Public Commissioner finds that the decision on the confirmation in office of the re-evaluation subject, Mr. Valentin Preçi, is vulnerable in its entirety and contains sufficient legal reasons to be presented for review, through appeal, the controlling and re-evaluating jurisdiction of the College.

The Public Commissioner requests that the causes of this appeal be considered by the Special Appeal Board and, at the end of a full investigation of the case, decide to change the decision no. 730, dated 10.1.2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, and the dismissal from duty of the subject of reassessment, Mr. Valentin Preçi.
