Këshilli Bashkiak ka mbajtur një minutë heshtje për Dorina Kukën, këshilltaren që ndërroi jetë pak ditë më parë. Mbledhja e sotme ishte mbledhja e parë pa këshilltaren, e cila u nda nga jeta në moshë të re, vetëm 35 vjeçe. 

Në fjalën e tij Veliaj u shpreh se Dorina ishte një nga koleget më energjike, e gjithashtu shprehu se Këshilli do të ndihmojë përmes një kontributi financiar familjen e këshilltares së ndjerë, pasi 35-vjeçarja la pas dy fëmijë të vegjël. 

“Ka qenë vërtet një situatë e vështirë të humbësh një nga koleget më energjike të skuadrës sonë. Unë besoj fort se ky raport njerëzor është përtej raportit politik, përtej punës së përbashkët; ne nuk jemi njerëz që thjesht bëjmë një punë, ne jemi një familje. Në mbledhjen tjetër do kemi përgatitur edhe një material të plotë, për të një trajtim financiar për shpenzimet e familjës së motrës sonë. Besoj është në dinjitetin tonë që të tregojmë solidaritet me këdo në këtë qytet,” u shpreh Veliaj./CNA.al
