The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, called the meeting of the National Security Council today

The cyber attacks of the last few months, the level of infringement of state electronic systems and the measures that have been taken and are being taken by the responsible structures were the subject of detailed discussions at the meeting of the National Security Council.

Gjatë diskutimeve u theksua se sulmet keqdashëse, të sponsorizuara nga qeveria e Iranit, duhet të bëjnë bashkë të gjithë aktorët institucionalë, politikë e shoqërorë për të analizuar situatën e sistemeve elektronike dhe për ta trajtuar sigurinë kibernetike të gjithë infrastrukturës kritike të vendit, si një element thelbësor të sigurisë sonë kombëtare.

Ministra dhe përfaqësues të lartë të institucioneve përgjegjëse raportuan mbi analizën e deritanishme të situatës, planet dhe masat, që po ndërmerren për adresimin e mangësive të vërejtura në infrastrukturë dhe kapacitete.

Në mënyrë të veçantë, u vlerësua se mbështetja e ofruar nga Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës dhe agjencitë e ndryshme amerikane, që kanë punuar e po punojnë me agjencitë tona, ka qenë thelbësore për identifikimin e tipologjisë së agresionit kibernetik dhe kundërpërgjigjen tonë.

The National Security Council confirmed that the close international cooperation with all partner countries, NATO, and the EU should continue, with the aim of increasing defensive, counteractive and preventive capacities and not repeating such attacks in the future.
