The war against Ukraine has led to Russia being declared a threat to the peace and security of NATO member states.

Due to this, NATO decided at the Madrid summit to increase the number of troops in Eastern Europe and to increase the number of troops on high alert.

It is learned that out of the current 40,000, 300,000 military troops will be on standby.

As a NATO member, Albania will also send troops. In the map published on Twitter by NATO spokeswoman Oana Lungescu, it is noted that Albania will send troops to Latvia and Bulgaria.
