"He has a gun! Help us, he's killing us"/ The family of the DP

The Democratic Party candidate in Saranda, Matilda Qurku, has published several images of a person who threatened her family members with a cold weapon.

Qurku recounted the nightmare she experienced last night, indicating that the person followed her husband and family members.

The person who made the threat has been declared wanted. She further provides details about the incident.

"One of the hardest nights of my life as a mother.

A violent person, for no reason, appeared with a knife in his hand in front of my bar.

I approached the car where my children (ages 2 and 10), two grandchildren, and husband were.

When the nephew saw the gun, he said:

"Step on the gas, there's a gun!"

Elidon leaves to save the children, but calls me immediately:

"Come out and help Don, they're approaching him with guns!"

My father was very close to the aggressor.

I go out without thinking twice and face him.

Random citizens also reacted, and I thank them with all my heart.

The aggressor moves away... but not to stop.

He chases the car and hits it five times in a row, with speed and clear intent to do harm.

My nephew's voice on the phone screaming:

"Help us, it's killing us!"

It's something I'll never forget.

Last night you saw me running like a "crazy" through the streets of my neighborhood in search of my family, whom someone was trying to kill - without committing any crime.

The only connection to this man is that his parents, former employees of my business, have left of their own accord and in total peace, receiving the requested payment.

I ask for nothing more than what is due to us as citizens:

SECURITY and JUSTICE.

Immediate action by the State Police to catch the perpetrator

Protection for my family.

Law enforcement for all.
