"We have turned into a garbage can"/ Sazan Guri in protest: We have idle boilers in landfills

Environmentalist Sazan Guri was present at the protest taking place in Durres against the return of toxic waste to the Port of Durres.

Sazan Guri has stated that Albania has turned into a garbage can where dangerous waste comes that is not accepted in other countries.

"You are not allowed to sit in the cafe on this special day. You have to stand up to this waste that was not accepted in other countries and come here today as if we were a garbage can. We have empty landfills. The fact that these wastes made a transport pass and were thundered and were classified as unacceptable waste means that I suspect that we are dealing with very hazardous waste. They are not industrial waste", said Guri./ CNA
