Journalist Mentor Kikia has raised an alarm about a substance that is circulating in schools.

Through a status on social networks, Kikia says that in a 9-year-old school in Tirana, a substance that has the shape of a chewing gum has been identified.

According to him, this substance was identified by a teacher, who noticed that its use causes children to fall asleep.

The journalist asks the parents to be careful and control the children, while also calling on the authorities to find out what kind of substance the students used.

In a 9-year-old school in Tirana, a substance in such a form has been identified, which has the shape of a chewing gum, and which was used by one/several students. The teacher who identified it, has been alert and has warned the parents of the students of the class to be careful, as she has noticed that from its use the children suffer a state of drowsiness.

I am making this publication to draw the attention of parents to the control they should show towards their children. I have no information whether this is a narcotic substance or not, but it must undoubtedly be harmful in relation to the condition it produces.

Also, cooperation with the police is necessary to find out what it is and where it comes from.

Schools have been and are targeted by drug dealers, as trafficking networks look for new consumer clientele. While the list of narcotic products is regularly added with new synthetic substances.

Against these social and criminal problems, a cooperation between the school, the family and the police is needed.
