Next week, the lottery will be held for 159 more apartments in the new neighborhood "5 Maji".

The news was announced by the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, during the inspections of works on "Saraçëve Street".

Veliaj said that the new apartments will accommodate residents affected by the earthquake or residents of the River Bank with illegal properties.

"Next week we will draw lots for 159 new apartments at Bregu i Lumi. It is residents, who lost their old houses due to the earthquake, or owners with illegal properties, residents of the River Bank, who will get the new houses. Whoever believes and cooperates is rewarded, whoever stays behind the parties loses precious time, time that we can use to finish the palace and all this infrastructure. For the 159 families of the neighborhood, a new life begins, a new chapter, a new neighborhood and a new community in the super flats designed by Stefano Boeri, funded by the Albanian government, implemented by the Municipality of Tirana", emphasized the mayor. / BA – CNA.al
