Former chief prosecutor: Meta uses the language of criminal groups against
Former chief prosecutor Shkëlqim Hajdari

Former chief prosecutor Shkëlqim Hajdari commented on Ilir Meta's attacks on the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.

In an interview, the former chief prosecutor emphasized that the offensive language used by Meta in his attacks constitutes a criminal offense.

Hajdari emphasizes that the language used by Meta against SPAK and its leader Altin Dumani resembles that of criminal groups.

"This is unacceptable language, it does not honor the person in question, nor Albania. At minimum, there is the criminal offense of insulting the judge. It will be a mistake if Duman initiates a report for this crime.

This is language that shows that the person in question has information that SPAK can hit him, the path he has chosen by mixing the family, party and associates in a soup, is not a good situation. On the other hand, we must say that Dumani has received support from KLP, the American, British embassies, and the EU. The Albanian public and civil society support SPAK.

This story that every time parts that are not in the majority are hit, it is said that SPAK is being controlled by the government, is not the first. It's being made into a soap opera. It is not this language that helps the work of SPAK. It is similar to the attacks made by criminal groups in Italy, for example. This should stimulate them more to keep calm".

Among other things, the former chief prosecutor sent a message to the prosecutors not to be afraid.

"I want to say that the prosecutors face the people under investigation in the courtroom. In the hall, we also received live threats, for the prosecutors it is not a threat that we are hearing for the first time, the difference is that they are receiving these insults from television. Prosecutors should not be afraid", Hajdari added./ CNA
