Lawyer Saimir Vishaj, invited to the "Opinion" show, said that the two Russians and the Ukrainian who were caught at the military plant in Gramsh are passionate about photographing post-communist countries.

Saimir Visha: Jam bloger pretendon klienti dhe në Shqipëri kam ardhur siç kam ardhur në shumë vende të botës postkomuniste. Ata janë të apasionuar që të fotografojnë vendet postkomuniste. Ata i ka bashkuar i vetmi hobi që kanë. Në lidhje me Mikaelin, është marrë në kundërshtim me të gjitha procedurat, nuk ka pasur asnjë përkthyes. Është trembur sepse ulërimat e rojes ndal dhe mos lëviz nuk kanë qenë të kuptueshme për Mikaelin.

Para hetuesve tre të arrestuarit kanë mohuar se po kryenin aktivitet spiunazhi duke u deklaruar si fotografë eksplorues në kërkim të vendeve historike dhe ushtarake. Deklarimet e dhëna mbështeten edhe nga aktiviteti i postuar në rrjetet e tyre sociale.
