Lawyer Genc Gjokutaj, invited to the show "Now", with moderator Erla Mëhilli, commented on the recent events in the country, one of which was the dismissal of the former Director General of the State Police, Gladis Nano.

According to Gjokutaj, Gladis Nano is one of the martyrs of the police. The lawyer emphasized that Nano came to the state police as a new impulse but did not move any of the police floors and closed it in an undignified manner due to non-reporting.

Gjokutaj underlined that Nano was incapable of dismantling the structure he was leading.

" Gledis Nano is one of the martyrs of the police. He came to the police as a young impulse, his preparation, education, I considered him a suitable candidate for the fight against organized crime.

But the arrival of Nano did not move any of the floors of the State Police. He closed it in an undignified manner due to non-reporting. The state left him on the street. He asked for his resignation and he did not give it and then fired him. Nano should do his last service as a policeman, he had a moral obligation.

He was unlucky to dismantle the structure he was leading", said Gjokutaj./ CNA.al
