The well-known imam from Pristina, Labinot Maliqi, has recently shared his statement, given in a television program, related to the reality show "Big Brother", a patent that is currently being developed both in Kosovo and Albania.
He made this statement a year ago, but recently brought it back to the public's attention.
He stated that such formats are not only prohibited (haram) to be seen, according to him, it is "taken even to mention them".
The imam has called for television to broadcast more educational content.
"We are the best creatures that God has created on the surface of the earth, God has distinguished us with reason and not with lust, therefore we should pay more attention to educational shows, not shows that feed human lust, because we are not animals that everything we see on television contributes to human lust", Maliqi had declared. /CNA.al
