"Opening the necessary files"/ Lea Ypi tells the personal story of her

Philosopher and political scientist, Lea Ypi, has spoken about her next book, after the book Te ?irare, which took her 6 months to write.

In the interview with Drini Zeqo, Ypi revealed the details about the book he is currently writing.

The philosopher shows how the concept is related to dignity and raises the question of what dignity means as an individual and as a society.

Politologia confesses that it is a family history based on the life of her grandmother who, after coming from Thessaloniki, started working in the administration.

“Si konecpt është koncepti i dinjitetit dhe libri shtron pyetjen se çfarë do të thotë dinjitet si individ dhe si shqoëri.

Është një histori familjare e mbështetur sidomos në jetën e gjyshes sime. Ajo ka lindur në Selanik dhe pastaj ka ardhur dhe ka punuar në administratën shqiptare. Është personazh edhe në librin “Të lirë” dhe është një roman historik po me qasje filozofike.

Libri fillon me hapjen e dosjeve të familjes dhe nga aty kërkohet e vërteta rreth gjyshes dhe bashkëpunëtorëve”, shpjegoi Ypi.

Ndërsa e pyetur për debatin e madh të hapjes së dosjeve, Ypi tha se, se kjo duhet të kishte ndodhur shumë kohë më parë. Ajo e cilëson si të domosdoshme hapjen e dosjeve.

"I think it's a right and necessary thing, I think it's too late, it should have happened earlier.

We must avoid the situation where the grandchildren are held accountable for the crimes of the father or grandfather, as was done in communism when biography was taken into account. We need to get away from that element of holding posterity accountable for past crimes.

In the case of my grandmother, I opened those insurance files and found the aliases of the accomplices. Now these are reports that were written in the years 46-48-50.

We must avoid political manipulation and instrumentalization of the issue of opening files. So this should be a debate that includes Albanian society" , said Ypi./ CNA.al
