Old tires in front of the Municipality of Tirana, what is expected to happen in the protest

CNA has reported a few days ago that in today's protest that is taking place in front of the Tirana Municipality, there are expected to be new scenarios and an escalation of the situation. 

A few minutes ago, protests started in front of the Municipality of Tirana, where the resignation of the mayor Erion Veliaj is demanded.

The protesters call Veliaj a criminal, a thief and a stinker who stole from poor Albanians. 

They are determined to remove Veliaj from the municipality, after the corrupt affairs of the incinerators and the "5D" file. 

Protesters have placed several old tires on top of each other. It is not yet known if their plan later is to set it on fire, while everything remains to be seen./ CNA
