GJKKO "takes down" the associates of Cosa Nostra/ Rezart Taçi

GJKKO rejected the request of Cosa Nostra's collaborators to relax the security measure, leaving in force the decision to sentence Artur Balla to 11 years in prison and 10 years in prison to Bledar Lilo, the brother-in-law and driver of businessman Rezart Taçi.

They are charged with money laundering and organized criminal grouping.

Both convicts benefited from the shortened trial.

Artur Balla benefiting from the shortened trial will serve 7 years and 4 months in prison. While Bledar Lilo will suffer 6 years and 8 months in prison.

On the other hand, Rezart Taçi is still on the run.

They are accused of transferring 18.3 million of the mafia organization Cosa Nostra to a second level bank in Albania in cooperation with the businessman Rezart Taçi.

SPAK has facts that the crime money laundering scheme was led by Italian citizens Francesco Zummo, 90 years old and IZ, in cooperation with another Italian citizen Fabio Petruzzella, Swiss citizen of Italian origin DC, who in cooperation with Rezart Taçi laundered money through businesses in Albania in the oil sector.

Artur Balla and Bledar Lilo were also involved in this cleaning scheme.

It is about transactions in the amount of 18,399,941.50 Euro, which was seized earlier by SPAK.
