Students "wake up" Basha/ Lectures from the "excellent

The protest of medical students at the start of the new academic year has woken up Lulzim Basha.

In a post on his social networks, the so-called "excellent sleeper" gives lectures on how Albania can become a better place for students.

The self-elected head of the DP of vula says that students leave the country because they do not have conditions, work and decent wages to build a better life in the country.

He also did not leave without mentioning the law established by the government which obliges them to serve in Albania for 5 years after completing their studies.

" Today, at the start of the new academic year, I wish students and teachers a good and successful year.

In meetings with students and lecturers, I became familiar with the basic problems that they face every day: lack of support for the well-qualified academic staff, low-quality and contemporary education, lack of physical and digital infrastructure, high tuition fees, non-supportive policies for careers and employment.

Unfortunately, this academic year is starting with a boycott of classes by medical students, who rightly oppose the anti-constitutional and anti-democratic law prohibiting the granting of a doctor's degree on condition of employment for several years within the country.

Students leave the country not out of desire, but because they have no opportunity, no conditions, no job and decent salary to build a good life in the country, they leave because of the disregard of a government that does not listen to them and does not provide security for them the next day.

Albania will become a better and more desirable country for students and teachers not by punishing those who seek to leave because of the conditions in which university education is stagnant, but by investing in education and scientific research, revising tuition fees, offering support concrete for the education and employment of students with dignified wages", writes Basha. / CNA
