Journalist: Early elections without a technical government, Rama's dream on the shelf

Journalist Bledian Koka said this Monday that the scenario for early elections without a caretaker government is a pipe dream of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Invited to A2 CNN, Koka stated that recent political developments are related not only to investigations and debates about corruption, but also to the positions of internationals.

The government's political rhetoric about "state-building" has faded. Infrastructural and institutional problems are becoming increasingly visible. The majority has so far managed to use legal mechanisms to drag out certain processes, but the space is narrowing and the political situation is entering a more sensitive phase.
