Journalist Juljan Hoxha spoke about the reported scandal involving the acting mayor of the municipality, Anuela Ristani.

In a television interview, Hoxhaj stated that the case of the use of municipal vehicles by the family members of the deposed mayor of Tirana shows the arrogance of the government leaders in this country.

The journalist emphasized that the taxes of the citizens of Tirana and all of Albania are used for private interests.

Denunciations have been made in the media against the mayor and the Freedom Party has made a reaction demanding an investigation against Mrs. Ristani," said Hoxhaj.

Among other things, journalist Juljan Hoxhaj has denounced another scandal, stating that the acting mayor, Anuela Ristani, does not like the office furnishings.

The journalist highlighted that over 460 million lek of taxes from Tirana citizens will be used by the appointed mayor for her personal luxury, namely for furnishing her office.

"The lady in question did not like the office decoration. There are over 460 million lek of taxes from the citizens of Tirana that will be used by the mayor for her personal luxury, that is, for the decoration of her office," the journalist declared./ CNA
