Argita Malltezi, the daughter of the former prime minister Sali Berisha, has become part of the protest in front of the Tirana City Hall, where the removal of Erion Veliaj is demanded for the "5D" file scandal.
In this protest, she has chosen to convey a message about her father, wearing a T-shirt with the words "Free the Leader of the Opposition" printed on it. Berisha's portrait is printed on the T-shirt.
During her speech at the protest, Malltezi demanded that Veliaj leave this municipality and emphasized that SPAK's investigations regarding the mayor's corrupt affairs are missing.
"Citizens' money goes into the pockets of corrupt officials. You have not seen any investigation by SPAK on this issue regarding Erion Veliaj. This is a flagrant theft of hundreds of millions. Protest and popular reaction will serve everyone. This protest will be supported and will have a result. Veliaj also aims for prime minister, he will be an ugly copy of Edi Rama. Many others will join this cause," said Malltezi./ CNA
