On Wednesday, February 15, the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, is expected to arrive in Tirana. The high American official is expected to meet with the head of the Albanian government Edi Rama and the president Bajram Begaj. 

Diplomatic sources indicate that Blinken will also hold a meeting with the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani. 

Meanwhile, the work has started on the boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation". A large banner has been placed at the Polytechnic University, displaying Blinken's portrait. 

There are also American flags hanging along the boulevard.
