Today, in the "Flasim" podcast with Prime Minister Edi Rama, three young people from Shkodra were invited, who were declared winners of the international competition in technology.

During the conversation with the prime minister, they talked about the system and about projects and programs that can help solve some problems such as traffic or the application of fines.

Everything is possible through artificial intelligence and getting as many ideas as possible to create a project that will help the police and citizens.

The goal of the three young people's project is to digitize traffic violations with e-Albania.

Prime Minister Rama has suggested to the young people to discuss their ideas with the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Becin.

Excerpts from the conversation:

Prime Minister Edi Rama: I understood that, but explain a little concretely. How the system is organized, where the data is collected. What do these data show and how does this then affect the entire traffic discipline.

-Our system uses artificial intelligence to detect traffic violations. It stores them in the database, then later, after a few years, they will be in e-Albania to make an automatic report of fines.

- Something else, when we send it to Shkodër, is how people, the public, will react to this, will there be good or bad reactions. And how it will go and to do the general test as it will be on the roads in real time.

Prime Minister Edi Rama: The artificial intelligence system has a great advantage that it has no cousins, no vices, does not get corrupted, does not work with corruption. It is a completely independent eye from all of this that sees everywhere, that through the whole system of cameras that are installed that collects the information and then gives the objective report that in this location this car with this number plate is wrong, right? And whoever gets the fine goes with the card and there is no reason why it shouldn't work, right?

- Yes, and I hope to return it to digital with e-Albania and to make it as easy as possible to pay the fine.

Prime Minister Rama has proposed to the young people to cooperate with the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Becin, for the strat-up program. Young people were quite optimistic about the projects they would create through artificial intelligence.

Prime Minister Edi Rama: Let's get back to serious business, we have a program for start-ups and I believe that if you will look at it, maybe you can cooperate with the Mayor of the municipality, Benet because Benet is one of the good qualities of his history of work, is that he is very good at writing projects and applying for funding from different organizations, or different funds, or different programs, and you can make an application to receive financial support for this innovation of yours , so that we can make this artificial intelligence model for traffic a reality and make it beautiful as soon as possible because it can serve us a lot then to extend it throughout Albania.

- Even to help the Police. That the Traffic Police especially get tired in the rain, in the heat, in the cold. This is also very important for them.

Prime Minister Edi Rama: Undoubtedly, artificial intelligence will fundamentally change work relationships and the relationships between reality and institutions because it will provide extraordinary opportunities in all areas to have an extremely detailed and extremely objective monitoring of many aspects that are done today only through man and of course, if, that the camera system and traffic monitoring with cameras is not new, it is old, but with the introduction of artificial intelligence, processing all information, giving reports, not just speed in traffic, at certain points, but also the way of parking, violations, behavior with traffic rules is progress.
