Lawyer Zhaklina Peto has reacted to the denunciation of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha that her son and the Minister of Interior Bledi Çuçi, Endi Çuçi, was arrested in Italy as a member of the mafia that smuggled drugs and sick people.

Peto has denied the news, calling the allegations untrue and ugly.

Through a status on social media, Peto declares that she and her son have no problems with Italian justice, despite the mention she calls casual, in an Italian justice investigation.

Juristja tregon se ajo së bashku me Endi Çuçin janë kthyer nga Italia dhe prej shtatorit të vitit 2021, ai po punon për EPO në Mynih të Gjermanisë.

Që ne fillim dua t’ju sqaroj se as unë dhe as djali im nuk kemi probleme me drejtësinë italiane pavarësisht përmendjes në mënyrë rastësore në një hetim të drejtësisë italiane që s’ka të bëjë fare me ne. Kjo është e cilësuar fare qartë edhe në fashikullin e hetimit të cilin e keni bashkëlidhur dhe po e citoj:
