This was the case of Bledi Çuçi, who actually went from being the Minister of the Interior, to the head of the parliamentary group of the SP and has already received the honorary post of the deputy speaker of the Assembly without any political weight in the direction of the SP.

He has vacated his place to Niko Pelesh, former Minister of Defense, after yesterday's presentations made at the congress of socialists.

CNA has discovered from official sources from within Rilindza what was the reason for Bledi Çuçi's departure.  This is not related to the activity of the parliamentary group, as Çuçi has been seen quite active in performing his duty, but everything is related to several statements made last week by the head of the parliamentary group of socialists.

Bledi Çuçi, in one of his appearances, made a public defense of Erion Veliaj, saying that the mayor of Tirana was the most successful in history and had all the support of the SP parliamentary group.

Something which was not only not agreed with the group, but had not received any confirmation even from the Prime Minister himself.

So, an unnecessary public support, which was a political blunder due to the fact that the socialists themselves have set a standard: No one will be publicly supported by people who are being questioned or investigated by SPAK.

So, the principle that everyone has a personal responsibility to go and solve it with justice until the moments when justice gives the decision, socialists should be silent.

This rule established by Prime Minister Edi Rama and broken by Bledi Çuçi has caused the latter to leave the head of the socialist parliamentary group.

This was learned by Çuçi himself, who, after making a mistake, realized it late, but he didn't have time for reflection. He has left the head of the parliamentary group of the SP./ CNA
